Ampthill is a Georgian town on a hill, and its centre, Church Street, Dunstable Street and the market square, is a conservation area of brick houses roofed in clay plain tiles and Welsh slate with tall chimneys. Working there means matching tiles, hand-formed lead and mortar that suits old brick, and it is some of the most careful roofing we do.
